Additional Minnesota Viking Commentary

False November 9, 2023
My apologies if I missed something but my thoughts may not be just my own ... but apart of a collective of minds.  My fear is that I may be on to something however people in general are afraid of either what they don't understand or how there thoughts might harm them in some way where instead they stay silent.  Unfortunately, standing in silence ... alone ... helps no one.  It is my hope that my observation helps in some way.

My point here is that you should never create & then implement a political statement that allows everyone that reads it to say to themselves that this does not apply to me.

We all get it.  Racism is wrong & is never to be tolerated by any decent human being.  However "End Racism", as the NFL's statement, on its own, is FALSE.  It's like stating "End Hatred" or "Abolish Evil" ... that is just not going to happen.  We live in a world of both good & evil & nothing that you can say or do will change that ... as evil hides itself amongst the cracks of humanity.  You never want someone to look at any statement & then think to themselves ... that is entirely ridiculous.  It is absolutely clear that you can't stop racism, just as you cannot stop evil.  It pains me to say it but there is always a context & that statement does not get down to brass tacks where seeing this statement on every field in the NFL stinks of some sort of political agenda that will do little to stem the tide of racism.  Racism does not just apply to Black or Brown Americans ... it applies to the history of man including every color, gender, creed, etc.

We are all born ignorant although you could argue that many of us are born with a gift.  For example, Mozart could just sit at a keyboard & play.  In other words, he didn't have to learn the way other do but he still had to develop his gifts.  The point here is that the NFL's statement should apply to humanity as a whole where we all must reflect upon our lives & stand for something.  My apologies ... again ... I do not want to offend anyone, but I fear that I will.

I am no rocket scientist, nor am I especially gifted in either marketing or in the creation of anything like slogans but I do know what applies to all of Mankind.  For example, if I were to see the following statements on the back of every NFL end zones back line, we would all know that it applies to every human that walks the planet.  Those statements would be:

RACISM IS TAUGHT
HATRED IS TAUGHT

There is absolute truth to both of these statements as again these statements apply to all of humanity.  You cannot just walk away from these statements ... no one can ... regardless of your race, creed or color.  To change the evil in this world we must actively confront what we've been taught inwardly.  No one has, nor can anyone be granted an exemption from its meaning ... which is why the only thing between myself & my brothers & sisters is politics.  Politics ... The things that are FALSE>

We are all just simple people.  We are all tempted by the pure workings of absolute evil.  We have a lifetime of teachings ... especially by the ones that we love.  At a young age, we blindly trust everything that we are taught where in time we learn to differentiate ideas, concepts, & statements of all types.  Hopefully, we all search & seek out the truth ... every day of our lives.  Putting the puzzle pieces of truth together when we find out the things that we use to believe ... "Just Ain't So (Mark Twain - Samuel Clemens)".

In time we develop special categories of differentiation:  Does this statement reek of evil?  Does this idea reek of hatred?  Does this action cause others to feel anguish or pain?  Is this justified?  Does this limit the freedom of others so that someone else can benefit from it?  The list goes on & on.

"Here, sign this petition to grant state workers that have already retired, the new (excessive) benefits that applies to all newly retired state workers."  The correct response should be ... "What does this have to do with freedom?"  Someone has to pay (enslave themselves within a system -To Pay Additional Taxes), for benefits of another.  How did we get into a system where someone should vote to self enrich themselves at the expense of others?

We have to begin to look inward, within the imperfections of ourselves, to correct absolutely everything in time.  No one can deny that we have serious problems in our society.  Governments don't correct these problems ... they just exacerbate them.  Simple people can correct these problems because we all share a common thread.   We just cannot afford to stand silent ... ALONE! ... to do nothing ... in fear.

Now, if you find yourself offended by these words, maybe its time for you to look inward.  "He who is without sin, shall cast the first stone" ... although I could be wrong.  Personally, my quest to look inward shall never end, where my faults & my shortcomings are numerous.  There is a reason why we should all have an eraser at the end of our pencils ... where to often ... they do not.  Yes, I'm flawed & I am wrong all the time, & I am the brunt of all that human comedy but putting out my hand or embracing my brother shall not be governed by evil.  There is too much to learn & to experience from them all.
