Darrisaw Exists
Unlike Michael Pierce
that disappeared from our 2020 roster, Christian Darrisaw exists. He has
not been removed from the chess board ... he exists. The bickering has
already begun stating how this years 2021 draft is a bust because neither
Darrisaw or Wyatt Davis will start in 2021 but your all overlooking the
obvious. Number 1 is that if Darrisaw doesn't pan out then Rick Spielman
will be nothing but a grease spot due to his unbelievable rash of round-1
debacles but again ... Darrisaw Exists. In other words gentlemen ...
button your lip & stop the rhetoric because Darrisaw will be anything but a
bust.
Maybe you have not been paying attention but Rashod Hill, our proverbial swing
tackle for several years now, is still entrenched as our starting left tackle
whereas in a surprising move, Oli Udoh has been moved to right guard. What
that means, in a nut shell is that our future appears to be Darrisaw at left
tackle, Cleveland at left guard, Bradbury at center, Udoh at right guard &
future all pro O'Neill to anchor our right side. In everyone's mind your
thinking pipe dream but that's not how this thing is going to unfold. In
other words, this 2021 Vikings offensive line may be the strongest that we've
fielded in decades. As for Davis, he's not just window dressing (or to be
considered a backup per se) ... he's to ensure the continuity of an ever
faltering center & its not going to involve Udoh (the dude is a
specimen). I can't tell you how delighted that I am to see this evolution
combined with HC Zimmer's gut wrenching over it all.
Hey retard sports writers ... backup quarterbacks don't win Super Bowl
Championships ... starters do. Take for example the rumored trade for
Teddy Bridgewater to get a seasoned backup behind Kirk Cousins. Am I the
only person on the planet that would see this as a major step backwards
regardless of how much we all love Teddy. Again, this would apply to any
backup quarterback with experience like Case Keenum. In 2020, this
franchise was given a gift watching Rodgers become an NFL MVP that resulted from
Love being selected in the first round by the Fudge-Packers. Could Mond
hold for us some sort of similar ticket? Well lets just take a look at
this quarterback situation, just for giggles. Keeping 3 quarterbacks on
the 53 man roster is a luxury that no Super Bowl contender can afford.
After Jake Browning's latest debacle, do you think that he'll have any trouble
passing through waivers, to be entertained by this franchise, to be apart of
this continuity by rejoining our practice squad as a reserve, in some sort of
unforeseen disaster. Now, is Kellen Mond ready as this teams #2
quarterback ... well no ... but that's not the point, nor will he pass through
waivers onto our practice squad.
Either Kirk Cousins is now actively practicing adding
"Super Bowl Winning Quarterback" to his name or, in the near future,
Mond will be running the show. The reasons are quite simple & Cousins
knows it. Cousins has had two big money deals commitments that are now
behind him, where he's either got it this year or he doesn't. Mond is
clearly much more than meets the eye, Sure he was shaky after four
practices ... being on the recent rhetoric of the Wuhan hot seat ... but imagine
him under Cousins similar eight year commitment. Although Spielman's &
Zimmer's pressure relief valves has gone off bull crazy loony ... they know
they've found their guy in Mond. They aren't going to listen to all those
belly aching sports writers that always seem to know how to waste our resources
into proven non-winning quarterbacks that have starting experience. Let's
not forget that they can also carry a clipboard & help the starting
quarterback because they can diagnose a fart when they see
one.
As for Klint Kubiak, my pressure relief valve ruptured just thinking about that
first preseason game ... I'm still seething over it. Now don't get me
wrong, you're exactly the right man for the job however to be able to defeat
Kevin Stefanski you're going to need to seize "LEADERSHIP".
Stated another way, I have no patience for your timid tendencies which is like
shaking the hands of a wet noodle. In the 2 minute drill, when you see
Mond turning to speak to a player, while the clock is running was beyond
acceptable at the championship level of NFL football. I don't care if that
player couldn't hear the play call, or if that player was not aligned, nor do I
care if he doesn't know his assignment, nor do I care if he knows the snap count
... SINK OR SWIM knucklehead as the correction will ultimately be graded.
The quarterbacks posture in that situation should be ... set ... we are running
the play. Time management, its command, & its responsibility lies at
the feet of the QB where Mond's chat directly reflects upon Kubiak's lack of
absolute leadership and/or lack of preparation. Any Viking fan worth his
salt will tell you that our time management is an absolute abomination & it
has been that way for many years. Only an absolute loser can accept this
continual substandard expectation. Yes, the both the Cowboys & Packers
fans are once again laughing at this franchise & I'm sick of it.
It's the end of the half. Kellen Mond is has his offense at the 2 or 3
yard line with 2 seconds left. The plan is to give opportunities to our
kicker as preparation for the season. Where exactly at that very moment in
time was the unquestioned leadership of Klint Kubiak? Where was that
impulsive reaction to that very moment? I'm screaming, "Screw the
plan & screw the damn kicker!" In those 2 meaningless seconds of
Mond's first pre-season game, what might have Mond done with it? Well,
we'll never know will we. Legacies are stacked or are built upon
meaningless moments ... you know, like in practice, that means so much to all
you knucklehead coaches. Sure, we might have taken 3 meaningless points
off the board, & sure Mond might not have found a way to score in those
final 2 seconds, & yes the kicker wouldn't have had all that extra
preparation to perform during the season but once again you're missing the
point. Not only did we discount Mond's potential toward his legacy but we
also noted Kubiak's falter of not seizing absolute command of this Viking Ship
at that very moment. Screw
discretion!~
"The Plan" is a wonderful thing in that is proves that you've been
working hard to earn a paycheck but that is not what it's all about ... is
it? It's about seizing the blocks that build your way to a Super Bowl
Championship. Would you see what I'm talking about if field goal kicking
were outlawed in the NFL? Well it should be! .
Respect, & a well seasoned portfolio is what ranks head coach Mike Zimmer
however this franchise cannot reach this leagues high water mark without
"DECENTRALIZED DECISION MAKING." At any moment in time, the head
coach can overrule anything however you cannot anticipate either his decision or
try to appease what you think that he might want. To lead this teams
offense, the only tool at your hand is true leadership that can only come from
what spews from your gut at that very moment. Fear & indecision are
the tools & trademark of a loser.
Tighten it up!
