1st Time September 13, 2021
Maybe it's that February 13,
2022 thing ... at least it's not on a Friday but this has never happened before
in the 60 year history of the Minnesota Vikings. What's strangly odd is
that we are in unquestioned first place after losing our first game holding a
record of 0 Wins, 1 loss & 0 ties. Why, because the other three in our
division lost conference games where we lost a non-conference
game.
So what does that mean? Well if we win out, then we'll win the division
outright. I know, I'm laughing about it too!
Hopefully this isn't a repeat of that Les Steckel 1984 season debacle but for at
least the first week of NFL football, we have a commanding lead in our
division. Here's to the next 16 games. Skol!
I wonder if anyone will
have the brass cohonies to ask Coach Zimmer, "How does it feel to have such
a commanding lead in your division?"
Remember, it's not how you start the season that counts ... it's how you end
it. At the very least, you didn't spike yourself or step face first onto
rake.
